Server Intellect debuts geographically redundant DNS

Server Intellect, has released geographically redundant DNS, available to all customers, free of charge. The free Hosted DNS, powered by a robust Anycast DNS system (also known as Anycast Routing), is designed to enable customers to host their DNS across multiple, redundant DNS Servers located in three enterprise class datacenters in the United States. The Hosted DNS system, which is now available to all Server Intellect customers, offers the ability to configure enterprise level DNS redundancy in real-time with a few quick clicks in the Server Intellect Unity Customer Portal. Eric Pratt, CEO of Server Intellect remarked, ''The entire Server Intellect team is very excited to release such a powerful new feature, and at no additional cost to our customers. By using the Server Intellect Hosted DNS system, DNS requests are routed to the closest destination with the highest availability, preventing requests from being routed to a server that is unavailable or experiencing unusually heavy traffic.
